my academic advisor asked me to take some photos of her for her most recent research article to be published. i'm not the best at headshots but i'm slowly getting the hang of it!

this coming weekend I will be in Point Pleasant for the bridal shower of one of my very best friends, and while I'm there I wanted to get a little more practice! I have a few openings on Friday and Saturday, June 17th and 18th at Tu-endie-wei State Park. half hour sessions will be $25, including an image disk mailed to your home. message me if you are interested!

long time, no post!

now that school is out for the summer, i thought i would let everyone know that i am still alive! this was my most challenging semester yet as a grad (or undergrad) student and i taught two freshmen level courses all on my own with great success and a contract to continue teaching in the Fall! over all, a  great success! so this is what i've been up to lately...



in looking ahead to my summer i thought it would be appropriate to make a few goals for myself because making them public, keeps me accountable... right? So things I want to accomplish before August 22nd...

• Complete my one summer school class to push myself over the halfway mark in my Master's Program
• De-clutter my shoebox sized apartment...
• Complete the research/introduction portion of my thesis... hopefully.
• Document the fun I have in pictures! For a photographer, I'm bad at that!
• Start that scrapbook I bought in Phoenix...
• Enjoy vacations with both my and John's families.
• Watch one children's movie a week.
• De-clutter and Revamp the 1st Church Kid's Room
• Organize my closet (are you seeing a theme?)
• Be more creative.
• Be more active.
• Start recycling again.
• Read Tina Fey's new book... I might be most excited about this one!

I will probably add more to this... now that it's out there, let's see what I can do!
