we had a bit of an instant wedding at work yesterday. our friends donna and bob decided they wanted to get married. that day. so what do we do? we make it happen. because we are in the business of making dreams come true. that's what happens when you have a pastor and a photographer on staff... just add the bride and groom and we've got a party rockin'.

baby bump

so i have to say i'm pretty pleased with my first baby belly photo shoot! cassie was a great sport about being my practice subject (and baby ian as well), i got to play with my new light reflector (ok, ashley got to play with it), and i came out with a lot of great shots that i don't know if i even have a favorite! success. i was so excited i had to go ahead and post on my blog before i even showed cassie! hope she forgives me...

easter eggs galore

pinks and purples, blues and yellows... i love easter working with kids! the past 2 weeks have been crazy busy but my holiday was made with all of my kiddos showing off their sunday best on easter morning.

 i got a couple of really great shots that will be improved when i get the light reflector kit i just ordered today. i doubt for my next easter egg hunt i will follow kids around with a giant collapsable disk trying to manipulate the sun, but who knows? especially when i have kids of my own... i will probably be "that mom". the fact that i will be "that mom" is confirmed with each and every episode of "that 70's show" that i watch and i watch kitty and think to myself "that is exactly what i would have done!" i just hope i don't turn out to be such a lush at the open bars...
